Claimed as the world's smallest right-angle package, the 1113F Series of LEDs measures just 2.1 mm long by 1 mm wide by 0.6 mm tall. The devices are available in red (GaAlAs), yellow (GaP) and green (GaP) with luminous intensities of up to 12 mcd with 20-mA drive current.Additional features of the LEDs include a 140° viewing angle, diffused lenses, and uniform spatial distribution. The series is suited for optoelectronic applications such as edge lighting for LCDs, status indicators, cellular telephones, and other handheld products in which high brightness is required and space is tight. Th LEDs come on 8-mm-wide tape on 180-mm-diameter reels.
