Multi-Voltage LEDs Offer Greater Fault Tolerance

Marl expanded its range of multi-voltage LED panel indicators with versions that feature 12- to 48-V ac/dc (bipolar) and 110- to 240-V ac operating input voltages.
Ulverston, UK: Marl expanded its range of multi-voltage LED panel indicators with versions that feature 12- to 48-V ac/dc (bipolar) and 110- to 240-V ac operating input voltages. They eliminate the need for stocking 12, 24, and 48 V versions of the same LED, and are more tolerant of fault conditions, says the company. The LEDs can be supplied with reverse-polarity protection, or as fully bipolar components.

Designed for use in harsh environments, most are specified with a service life of 100,000 hours and can be sealed to IP67. They come in an anodised aluminium housing with a range of mounting options for high vibration, marine, portable, and defence applications.

All popular colours are available with lens options, including smoked, diffused, or water clear.
