This single-layer photo-etched chip inductor is designed for use with GaAs FET matching circuits, such as low noise amplifiers and voltage controlled oscillators. PTL1608 is a highly stable 0603 chip inductor with a 3% inductance tolerance over the full temperature range and a 100 ppm temperature coefficient. The self-resonant frequency is controlled to within 10% to allow use in trap circuits. The inductance is specified at 100 or 800 MHz, and Qs are typically 50 at 1800 MHz and 35 at 800 MHz. The SMT inductors span values of from 1 to 27 nH and are packaged on tape-and-reels of 4000 pieces.
