A line of daylight-viewable ultrabright LEDs offers indicators in red, green, amber, orange, blue and white. The components, which are additions to the 559 Series of 5-mm (0.0197") panel-mount indicators, contain non-tinted, non-diffused LEDs that range in intensity from 3100 mcd for amber to 600 mcd for white, both at 20 mA typical.Designed for quick, snap-in mounting, the indicators provide positive insertion in a 6.35-mm (0.025") hole in panel thicknesses from 0.787 mm to 1.574 mm (0.031" to 0.062"). They're surrounded by a black UL94V-0 compliant housing to enhance contrast and offer high luminous intensity, high efficiency, and 100,000 hours of service life. The LEDs can be supplied with straight terminals or with 6" or 14" 24 AWG lead wires. Samples are available now.
