Using new materials such as higher gain anode foil and very low ohmic electrolyte, 042/043 AMH-ELB family of axial-leaded electrolytic capacitors are designed for use in circuits such as are employed in lighting ballasts where they reportedly can lower the cost and extend the life of the circuits. The miniature capacitors are rated between 10 and 33 mF at 450V and remain stable with an overvoltage of up to 550V at 85°C for more than 24 hours; their life exceeds 100,000 hours at 70°C. The package is a cylindrical aluminum case with a blue insulation sleeve.
