The efficient optical design employed in the Ultra Flux LEDs is said to enable fewer of these InGaAlP devices to be used in high-intensity lighting applications such as automotive exterior lighting, moving message panels, and backlit exit signs. The LEDs come in ultra-yellow, amber, orange, and red and can be coupled with light pipes, reflectors or lenses. And the LEDs' 7.62-mm square package has 5.08-mm pin spacing.
