Measuring 0.35 mm in width, the HSMF-C114 tricolor, top-firing chip-type LED may be the thinnest such component on the market. The chip provides a 4-terminal common anode connection and is housed in a package measuring 1.6 mm x 1.5 mm. Employing InGaN, the blue LED delivers a typical brightness of 70 mcd at 20 mA. Also InGaN-based, the green LED provides a typical brightness of 180 mcd. The red LED uses AlInGaP and exhibits a typical brightness of 85 mcd at 20 mA.
