Debuting as the company’s highest density USB module to date, the Model USB-DIO-96 includes 96 or 48 industrial strength TTL digital I/Os and is hot-pluggable. It is viable for monitoring dry contacts or generating outputs for controlling external devices such as LEDs and other indicators or system equipment. Features include 12 or six eight-bit ports independently selectable for inputs or outputs, all I/O lines buffered with 32-mA source, 64-mA sink current capabilities, jumper selectable I/O pulled up to 5V for contact monitoring, down to ground, or floating, and resettable fused +5-Vdc outputs per 50-pin connector.
