With a footprint of just 10.3 x 10.3 mm and a low profile of only 4.5 mm maximum, the D104C Series of surface-mount inductors is for use as a dc choke coil in portable applications, including dc-to-dc converters for laptops as well as dc/ac inverter modules for flat panel LCD backlighting. The series is available in 1.0 to 470 µH inductance values with a maximum current rating of 9.5A at 1.8 µH. The devices are packaged on tape-and-reel in 500-piece quantities.
