The HPC series of pin silicon photodiodes is designed for use with optical switches and remote-control photo sensors. These optical receiving devices are fully packaged with epoxy resin and are claimed to offer a fine visible light cut. The typical peak response wavelength is 940 nm and can be matched with the company's HIR series IR LEDs. Other features of the photodiodes include high sensitivity, low dark current, fast response time, a reverse breakdown voltage of 32V, and a power dissipation of 150 mW.

Company: LEDOPTO - A division of AZ Displays Inc.
