Designed for CompactPCI product development in a variety of applications, the 7U MaxAir.10 MicroChassis tabletop or rack-mount chassis is self-contained and weighs 19 lb. when unpopulated. It is constructed of powder coated aluminum with stainless steel and employs a patented extruded aluminum, card-guide system, said to maximize airflow between slots. Protecting against EMI, the vented top and bottom covers are zinc plated steel and card-edge ESD clips and EMI panel gaskets are fabricated from BeCu. Plug-in power supplies provide output power ranges from 200W to 400W and N+l redundancy with zero wire current sharing on the 5V, 3.3V and 12V outputs. A removable filtered fan tray provides positive pressure airflow from below the cards up through the top cover. Options include 4U chassis size, redundant power, 48 Vdc input power supply, voltage status LEDs, power-fail and fan-fail monitors, and EMI filler panels. A 7U, eight-slot chassis with a single 350W power supply is priced starting at $2,758. TRIPLE E CORP., Lowell, MA. (978) 453-0600.
