Small Package Houses AC-DC Wall-Mount Power Supplies

The M8 series of 15-W ac-dc wall-mount power supplies from Autec Power Systems provides an easy to use and interchangeable ac plug system in a 150-g package that measures just 31 by 73 by 33 mm (see the figure). These devices operate from a 90- to 264-V ac input, with outputs available from 5 to 24 V dc. Also, the M8 series provides overvoltage and short-circuit protection in addition to an LED indicator. Compliant with EnergyStar 2.0, these devices have UL, cUL, CB, BSMI, CEC, CE, and TUV approvals as well. They operate from 0°C to 40°C, with a selection of many output plugs available. Pricing is less than $10 in OEM quantities with the travel pack.
