Mini Switches Have Snap-Action Mechanism

July 1, 1999

Well-suited for use in aircraft and other avionics applications, Model S510 non-illuminated and Model S520 illuminated miniature SPST pushbutton, momentary snap-action switches are designed for mounting to front panels using a 5/16-40 hex nut with internal tooth lock washer. The switches occupy only 3/4" behind the panels and have a 1/4" diameter round pushbutton lens that can hold a T1 sub-midget base lamp or LED. The switches were formerly manufactured as Pendar, Clare Pendar and General Instruments switch lines.
