Connectors Provide Power Distribution

Aug. 1, 1999

Designed for cost-effective, ultra-reliable and safe operation in harsh environments, the ABPC Series mains power distribution connectors are well-suited for military field operations, rail transportation, laser-guided tunneling and event lighting applications. Connectors have a welded first-make/last-break grounding contact system to ensure safe operation. An additional safety feature is a pilot contact that monitors ground leakage to verify the system integrity and switches power off in the event of a problem. With all-plastic outer body parts and aluminum inner shells for strength and ground continuity, the connectors provide full environmental sealing and are suitable for single- or three-phase operation.
