Fiber-Optic Interface Accepts All Genius-Bus Data Rates

The OZD Genius G12 fiber-optic interface is claimed to provide fail-safe operation through redundant fiber-optic, double-ring structures at all Genius-Bus data speeds and ensures high data-transfer reliability and low failure rates. It is said to be able to handle signals with full protocol transparency even at considerable distances. The device operates on either 24 or 48 Vdc, accommodates 50/125 µm and 62/125 µm fiber types, and provides diagnostic LEDs. Other features include electrical isolation, EMI shielding, and a temperature range of 0°C to 60°C. Pricing is $1,200 with delivery from stock.
