Offered in vacuum or Krypton gas- or Halogen gas-filled versions, these miniature lens-end lamps are especially well-suited for use in handheld medical and dental instruments. The miniature lamps feature outputs up to 16,000 Lux, depending upon type. And they come in a wide variety of standard configurations and are available with cylindrical bodies and bi-pin bases or flying leads, or with 3.8-, 4.8- and 7.2-mm threaded bodies.
The lens-end lamps range in size from 3.8 mm diameter up and run on 2.5 to 6.0 vdc and 0.16A to 1.20A, depending upon type. Standard lamps are offered in 60 variations and specials, including Xenon gas-filled types and others capable of light output values as high as 38,000 Lux.
