Boasting of high intensity brightness in a thin, low-profile package, the BL-H reflector-style surface-mount LEDs measure 0.8 mm in height and come in 1206 and 0805 packages. The lens cap is 0.2 mm high and the reflector cup design incorporates recessed mounting of the LED chip beneath the substrate’s surface height, said to provide a more focused light for higher forward intensity brightness. The LEDs can withstand temperatures up to 250°C and are resistant to shock and vibration. Depending on color and quantity, price is between $0.20 and $4 each.
