Designed to safely withstand severe environmental conditions and the bumps and bruises of harsh handling, the KG series rocker switches’ targeted applications include off-highway construction vehicles and similar applications. They feature a rugged raised bezel for added actuator protection and overall strength. Both lighted and unlighted models come with or without a selection of standard symbol marking by laser or hotstamping. The lighted models provide high-visibility and offer optional LED, neon or filament lamps, and viewing lens configurations. Because of the extreme conditions these switches may experience, they are tested to meet various IEC specifications for shock, vibration, salt spray and moisture resistance at operating temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. Other features include silver contacts, ratings of 15A at 12 Vdc, 10A at 24 Vdc or 15A at 250 Vac, and an electrical life of 10,000 cycles at full load, or a mechanical life of 100,000 cycles minimum.
