Illuminated Pushbutton Switches Sport Super Bright LEDs

The companyÕs line of illuminated pushbutton switches is now available with super bright LEDs, which are designed to give design engineers the ability to create cutting-edge front panel designs with multiple colors and increased illumination intensity. The super bright LEDs, available in blue, white and green, are single element devices rated at a forward peak current of 30 mA.Continuous forward current is 20 mA and reverse peak voltage is 5V and the LED circuit is independent of the switch operation. If the source voltage exceeds the rated voltage, a ballast resistor is required. To produce an even, full-face, brilliant illumination, the LEDs are installed in switches with white diffusers and clear caps.
