Employing a pre-set factory polarity that assures proper lead matching, the new L41 LED connector assembly claims to remedy the common error of reversing wires during installation of LEDs. The assembly also speeds production through "plug and play" installation, the company says. The LEDs, housings, leads and connectors come as a complete unit ready for final installation. Operators snap the assembly into place from the rear of a panel using simple friction fitting. Built with an environmentally sealed housing that provides dust and water resistance, the assembly is said to be ideal for marine applications, industrial applications that are prone to dust and dirt, and applications that require frequent cleaning such as food processing. The assembly can be customized for LED intensity, wire type and connector style and comes in monochrome or bicolor. WILBRECHT ELECTRONICS INC., St. Paul, MN. (888) 323-8751.
