The latest generation of DecorLED direct incandescent replacement lamps combine indium gallium aluminum phosphide (InGaA1P) and silicon carbide/gallium nitride (SiC/GaN) LED technology, standard bases (e.g., 25-mm Edison screw base), and a design that maximizes illumination. With a power draw of just 1.0W to 1.7W, an 11-year operating life, and six sunlight-visible colors from which to select, solid-state DecorLEDs provide architects, entertainment designers and other lighting professionals with the means to integrate ornamental illumination into maintenance-intensive applications. A molded polycarbonate, UV- and shatter-resistant globe protects the LED cluster from the environment. The lamps are available in all common voltages from 120 Vdc/ac to 12/14 Vdc. They are designed to perform well when subjected to voltage dips or surges. Integrated current-limited resistors and polarity-protection diodes assure that no circuit modifications are required. Custom frosted/tinted bulbs, multi-colored lamps and special voltages are available depending upon factory approval. G25, G40A, S11 and S14 size bulbs are available as well.
