Suitable for an array of applications, including automotive, avionics, telecommunications, and computer equipment, the 1206 series of surface-mount LEDs has an overall size of 3 mm with a die face measuring 1.5 mm. The standard 1206, 12 mm x 6 mm inner lens comes in green (560 nm, 6 to 12 mcd), yellow (580/570 nm, 6 to 12 mcd), and red (660 nm, 33.6 mcd). Voltage ratings are 2.1V for green and yellow and 1.7V for red. The SMT LEDs are available on tape-and-reel, in standard quantities of 2,500 units.
