A new panel lamp has been designed with advanced LED technology and a simple, easy-fitting arrangement that completely eliminates nuts and washers. The MSSI/5 high-intensity, multi-colored lamp is front and rear sealed to IP 67 specs. The polymer-based, chemically-resistant lamp and shroud can be installed from the front of the panel. Special order flying lead terminations are another instant installation asset. Panel assembly time is said to be cut drastically, particularly on panels where heavy population of components or rear mounting is a problem. The life of the LED lamps exceeds 100,000 hr. Applications for the MSSI/5 include hazardous environments, where high seal standards are essential. Low profile and fresnel lens versions are standard. Lead versions can be developed. Lamp colors include red, yellow and green. Pricing is $1.33 each/1,000. OXLEY INC., Branford, CT. (800) 577-2105.
