Designed to expand lighting options for enclosures, the SL 025 Slimline provides both illumination and a motion sensor, making it particularly useful in enclosures with glass doors. The passive infrared motion sensor detects movement of an enclosure door, such as when it is being opened, and automatically turns on the light; it is not activated by ambient motion outside the enclosure. This approach promises to eliminate the need for mechanical door switches and additional wiring. Other features of the light include a profile of just 1.6" deep, a 13W fluorescent lamp, an integrated always-on power outlet, and a lightweight plastic housing. Instead of the motion sensor, the light is also available with an on/off switch. In addition, the light comes in voltage ratings of 120 and 230 Vac and 24 Vdc. STEGO INC., Marietta, GA.
