For space-critical applications, the PY1114CK surface-mount LED measures 0.4 mm thick and is designed for backlighting keypads and various types of switches. The LED is fabricated from GaP die material and is available in yellow-green with a milky white lens. Other colors are planned for the future. Luminous intensity is 5.6 mcd typical when operating with a forward current of 10 mA. Typical forward voltage is 2.1V at 10 mA and reverse current is 100 µA maximum with a reverse voltage of 4V.
