Reported as being viable for all electrical applications, the Serve Shield and Foil Shield shielded cords promise reliable and multi-purpose electrical connections for markets that include construction, medical, food service, communication, lighting, and automotive. The 36 AWG Serve Shield is shielded with a soft, tinned-copper spiral wrap that provides 90% coverage. For applications requiring 100% coverage, the Foil Shield is a heat laminated aluminum foil polyester tape with a 24 AWG drain wire. Both can be customized to suit specific environments. The cords are available in both PVC and TPE in 12", 24", 36", and 48" lengths that extend on a 1:5 ratio. The cords meet UL/CSA specifications. AUTAC INC., North Branford, CT. (800) 243-3161.
