A new high-density enclosed switching power supply has been designed with a battery charger for low to moderate power applications. The AD55/155 achieves output power over the range of 55W to 155W with active PFC. An extra battery charger output can be used for support/UPS external functions. All models accept universal input from 85 to 265 Vac, and 10 models have single or dual outputs of 5, 13.8, 27.6 and 53.5 Vdc. The AD55/155 includes an integral power-good LED indicator and an output adjustment potentiometer and will operate over the ambient temperature range of –10°C to +60°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models contain over-voltage and short circuit protection circuitry and carry full UL1950/TUVB EN60950 safety approvals. Dimensions for the 55W version measure 6.25"L x 3.8"W x 1.5"H, with screw terminal connections. Pricing start at $25 for 55W versions and $49 for 155W versions. ASTRODYNE, Taunton, MA.
