The E2A line of modular proximity sensors promise sensing distances up to twice that of standard proximity sensors, allowing users to mount them further away from tooling and work pieces. Sensing distances range from 2 to 30 mm. With more than 220 models in the line, the company expects an exact configuration to be available for any application. Sensors are available in shielded or unshielded M8, M12, M18, and M30 sizes with NPN or PNP outputs, a range of barrel sizes and materials, plus a number of wiring options. Other features include thick housings that minimize damage from over-torquing, vacuum-potted construction, built-in wrench flats, and LED indicators. Available from stock, prices start at $57 each.
