A new DIN-rail mounted enclosed switching power supply has been designed for industrial control and embedded rack systems applications. The DRL power supply is suited for use in size-restrictive applications requiring power levels from 25W to 320W output. Constructed in a cage-covered package with snap-on DIN rail mounts, the supply accepts universal input from 85 to 265 Vac. Thirty models in the DRL series all provide single outputs from 5 to 48 Vdc. And all models have soft-start circuitry, integral EMI filtering, an integral power-good LED indicator and an output adjustment potentiometer. Operating temperature ranges from 0°C to +45°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All DRL models also contain overvoltage and short-circuit protection and are safety approved to UL/TUV/CE. Dimensions for the 25W version are 3.9"L x 3.8"W x 1.4H, and all models include front-located screw terminal input/output connections. Pricing starts at $49 each. ASTRODYNE, Taunton, MA.
