The NL series subminiature switch integrates two independent LEDs, available in any color combination of red, green, yellow, or blue. Measuring 2-mm high with a 150° viewing angle, the surface-mount switch is suitable for use in medical, consumer, instrumentation, computer and computer peripheral, hand-held, remote, and camera applications. It specifies an electrical rating of 50 mA at 24 Vdc and a typical electrical life of 30,000 cycles. Other features include a tactile-feedback force of 160g, an actuator travel of 0.5 mm (±0.2 mm), contact resistance of 50 mΩ, insulation resistance in excess of 100 MΩ, RoHS compliance, and a minimum dielectric strength of 100 VRMS. Additionally, both the actuator and base are composed of liquid crystal polymer, the housing is Nylon 9T, and the contacts are silver-plated phosphor bronze with terminals of silver-plated brass.
