Housed in threaded, 12-mm metal barrels, the M12 photoelectric sensor family is capable of replacing range-limited proximity sensors. With IP67/NEMA 6 ratings, each member of the family includes a visible red sensing beam for alignment and two LEDs for operating-status monitoring from any direction. The series offers three fixed-field models at 25, 50, and 75 mm, each capable of detecting objects with low reflectivity that are directly in front of another surface, ignoring the surface in the background. Pricing for M12 sensors starts at $69 each. BANNER ENGINEERING CORP., Minneapolis, MN. (888) 373-6767.
