Lambda unveiled four series of 50- to 150-W enclosed power supplies offering low cost and small size. The LS50 (50 W) through LS150 (150 W) series of AC-DC single-output power supplies cover the popular output voltages, including 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, 36, and 48 V. Available in four power ratings—50, 75, 100, and 150 W—the units carry the CE Mark and meet UL/EN/IEC60950-1 safety agency specs. They have a withstand voltage of up to 1.5 kVAC input to ground, 3 kVAC input to output, and 500 VDC output to ground. All models are RoHS compliant. Other features include a voltage-adjustment potentiometer, a green LED “on” indicator, screw terminal connections, and convection-cooled operating temperature range from -25°C up to +70°C with deratings above 50°C. The LS50 through LS100 series can operate with a universal AC input of 88 to 264 VAC, and the LS150 has a 115/230 VAC selector switch. The supplies range in size from 3.9 x 3.8 x 1.4 inches up to 7.8 x 3.9 x 1.5 inches. They’re available now starting at $18.44 each in 100-unit quantities. LAMBDA AMERICAS INC., San Diego, CA.
