Supporting all global mobile broadcast standards, the TDA18292 launches as the first terrestrial and multi-band satellite silicon tuner for portable TVs. Reportedly, it is the first to support the five global TV standards for portable devices, DVB-T, DVB-H, DVB-SH, T-DMB, and ISDB-T, and five terrestrial frequency bands, VHF, UHF, L1, L2, and S-band. Features include an automatic gain control across a 70-dB range in 0.5-dB control steps, power consumption levels of 20 mW (DVB-H), 170 mW (DVB-T), and 80 mW (T-DMB), a noise figure of less than 3 dB, zero-IF output interface to channel decoder, and a 32-pin HVQN package measuring 5 mm x 5 mm.
