Minimum processing power and memory are said to be required with UCanTalk, a speech recognition suite targeted at the embedded market and offering maximum noise-robustness and high-level accuracy for Wind River Systems' Tornado II developers. Available in two versions, Speaker Dependent and Speaker Independent, the software has been designed for an extensive range of embedded applications, including digital TV, set-top boxes, game consoles, interactive kiosks, Internet devices, mobile phones, office equipment, and more.
