Flexible Silicone Heaters Offer Design Versatility

March 1, 2000

Designed to withstand temperatures to 200°C, FlexHeat thin profile flexible silicone heaters come in both off-the-shelf and custom configurations. They are said to provide cost-effective design solutions for applications requiring a relatively constant temperature range for optimal performance and where space is limited such as in electronics, robotics, aerospace and telecom equipment.
The heaters can be designed with multiple-watt densities using one set of electrical lead connections to provide the application with several heat zones from a single heater. They also provide any desired voltage or dual voltage where one design must meet 110/240V requirements. The silicone skin provides a moisture, chemical- and ozone-resistant, electrically non-conductive barrier.
