For low-power applications, the EM6812 8-bit flash microcontroller operates from a 3V supply while consuming 120 µA in active mode and as low as 0.8 µA in standby mode at 32 kHz. Voltage supply range is from 2V to 5V. The device includes an 8-level SVLD (Supply Voltage Level Detection) feature that allows various actions to be taken when a voltage reaches certain thresholds. Relying on an 8-bit CoolRISC CPU core delivering up to 2.5 MIPS, the chip comes with up to 22.5 KB of flash memory, brownout and power-check functions, 16 configurable I/Os, PWM, internal and external IRQ, and either four 8-bit or two 16-bit timers.
