The SP6690 is Sipex Corp.’s newest addition to its portfolio of highly efficient power management products. Complimenting Sipex’s existing white LED drivers, the SP6690 is ideal for driving up to six serial white LEDs in the latest generation Li-Ion battery-powered portable devices. It extends battery life by consuming only 20 µA (typ) quiescent current and boasts an extremely low standby current of 10 nA.

The SP6690 contains an integrated high voltage (30V) power switch that is current regulated up to 350mA. The inherent current regulation provided to the load results in a consistent brightness from all the LEDs. The unique combination of high output voltage, high current drive capability and low quiescent current optimizes the product for a wide range of applications and unparalleled performance. The device is designed for battery-powered devices, such as cell phones, PDAs, digital cameras, MP3 players, and other consumer products.
