Sipex Corp.’s new SPX3819, a low dropout (LDO) linear regulator, is available in 1.8V, 3V, and 3.1V fixed output voltages. These tiny LDOs can deliver up to 500mA of continuous output current with 340 mV of dropout voltage and low noise output of 40uVRMS. The SPX3819 is an ideal solution for portable applications such as cell phones and PDAs, where low dropout, low noise, and small size are a must.
