Seiko Instruments’ S-1167 Series voltage regulators are suitable as power supplies for portable, battery-powered devices requiring ultralow current consumption, small package design, and the reliability and accuracy of CMOS-based technology. These devices exhibit a low dropout voltage (150 mV typical), and high output voltage accuracy (±1%). Other key features include a current consumption of 9 µA typ. during operation and 70 dB of ripple rejection.

The regulators operate from a wide input-voltage range of 2.0 V to 6.5 V while generating a 1.5-V to 5.5-V selectable output voltage in 0.1-V steps. Offered in SNT-6A(H) and SOT-23-5 packages, the devices feature a built-in shutdown circuit and overcurrent protection.
