Fairchild Semiconductor has significantly streamlined its quoting process by deploying RosettaNet-based pricing with Yosun Industrial, a major pan Asian distributor of electronic components.
“The Yosun and Fairchild teams worked very closely together to implement RosettaNet business standards, reducing the time required for quoting between the two companies,” said Eric Pannekeet, Fairchild’s manager, Corporate RosettaNet Development.“The benefits are enormous: Yosun is able to work within their ERP system to send and receive product quoting and availability information, while Fairchild is able to respond rapidly to pricing opportunities for our power products with the best, most timely information.
Yosun is a valued Fairchild partner with operations across Asia, including China, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia. The implementation of RosettaNet has significantly reduced the time required to enter quotes and respond to requests—making it easy to do business with Fairchild.”
“We provide integrated services for our customers and suppliers, adding significant value to the electronics components supply chain,” said Louis Chang, vice president of sales, Yosun Industrial Co. “As one of the leading distributors in Asia, we continually strive to identify ways to enhance our ability to leverage new opportunities and better serve our customer base. Building a strong relationship with Fairchild, one of our largest supplier partners, enabled us to jointly move the RosettaNet-based quoting process to completion in record time. Already deployed in Taiwan, we expect this new seamless process to be in operation across all our facilities within the next few months.”
