Did you know that Einstein’s greatest joy in life was playing the violin? It’s a little known secret – one of many you’ll learn about by visiting NOVA’s newly launched, web-only series, The Secret Life of Scientists. The new series will feature two science and engineering stars every month. In a selection of three to six short, punchy films, each person describes his or her scientific passions as well as hobbies and other interesting facts.

The site also offers the chance to interact directly with these scientific celebrities through Q &A sessions, sharing stories, and bonus video that explores each scientist’s work and life to reveal more about who these thinkers are as people. Some of the engineers in the new series include Nate Ball, Colin Angle, and Dava Newman.
