Mouser has signed a global distribution agreement with Cree.
Product designers will soon be able to get LEDs and silicon carbide power products made by Cree Inc. from the electronic distributor Mouser Electronics Inc. Mouser and Cree recently signed a global distribution agreement that covers, among other things, lighting-class XLamp LEDs, LED modules, and power products. Though Cree is probably most widely known for its LED products, it is also a leading manufacturer of silicon carbide-based diodes for power control and management. These devices are uses in applications ranging from solar inverters to industrial motor drivers.
Mouser runs 17 customer support locations across multiple continents with 42 country websites. Mouser Product Knowledge Centers and application guidance tools will give access to Cree products and technical data sheets, the company says.
Other advanced lighting technology lines that Mouser carries include those from Texas Instruments, On Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, and Maxim Integrated Products. The Mouser site handles more than two million orderable part numbers for online purchase.
