U.S. Venture Partners will finance $7 million with SupplyFrame for future growth of the electronic-components-search-engine “Go Part” widget, the companies announced today. SupplyFrame will use the additional capital to continue its global expansion, increase its electronic component content and scale its advertising business model. "This funding validates our approach to deliver trusted, authorized content that instantly answers the stream of questions asked by industry decision-makers,” SupplyFrame CEO said Steve Flagg said in a statement. With direct connections to major component manufacturers and authorized distributors, SupplyFrame’s Go Part is a free source for engineers and buyers to find information on millions of electronic components. The online widget allows engineers to find electronic parts and compare them instantly to other manufacturers’ devices of the same type. SupplyFrame's existing investors, Clearstone Venture Partners and Arcturus Capital, are also participating in the financing. Irwin Federman, General Partner at USVP, will join the SupplyFrame Board of Directors.
