Apple and German automaker Volkswagen are discussing the possibility of building an "iCar" that would feature products like the computer-maker's iPod, according to Associated Press reports. Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs and Volkswagen's chief Martin Winterkorn met last week in California and plan to meet for further discussions, according to the report. There are "scores of ideas," but few concrete plans at this point, a Volkswagon spokesperson told the AP. The report speculates that Apple will incorporate devices like GPS, cup warmers, and other digital media and entertainment products that are increasingly a selling point for automakers. Apple already works with automakers on integrated in-car hookups for iPods.
