The North American Components (NAC) business of Arrow Electronics will collaborate with IBM Global Engineering Solutions on chip design and manufacturing services.

The North American Components (NAC) business of Arrow Electronics will collaborate with IBM Global Engineering Solutions on chip design and manufacturing services. The deal will pair IBM's foundry and products services with Arrow's custom chip design and logistics capabilities. "Arrow is pleased to expand its longstanding relationship with IBM," Michael J. Long, president of Arrow Global Components, said in a statement. Long noted that the partnership expands Arrow's offerings of IBM products and services so customers can benefit from a portfolio ranging from FPGAs to foundry designs. "IBM's collaboration with Arrow will enable our clients to leverage Arrow's custom logic design experience to fulfill their needs for advanced component solutions," Adalio Sanchez, general manager of IBM Global Engineering Solutions, said in a statement.
