Freescale Semiconductor today announced their Global Design Challenge. This year's event invites embedded designers and engineering students to create green (environmentally-friendly) designs using a select group of the company's products. Regional winners can expect to receive cash prizes and first place regional winners get a chance to compete for a grand prize of $50,000.
