ON Semiconductor has acquired Analog Devices Inc.'s (ADI) CPU voltage regulation and PC thermal monitoring business.
The deal, which was announced last November, was valued at about $184 million and included the acquired assets, intellectual property related to the product lines, and a one-year manufacturing supply agreement with ON Semiconductor.
ADI has been transitioning its power management portfolio to high-performance products that complement the company's portfolio of signal-processing solutions for industrial, medical and scientific instrumentation, as well as communications infrastructure and consumer electronics.
