ON Semiconductor has acquired Analog Devices Inc.'s (ADI) CPU voltage regulation and PC thermal monitoring business.

ON Semiconductor has acquired Analog Devices Inc.'s (ADI) CPU voltage regulation and PC thermal monitoring business. The deal, which was announced last November, was valued at about $184 million and included the acquired assets, intellectual property related to the product lines, and a one-year manufacturing supply agreement with ON Semiconductor. ADI has been transitioning its power management portfolio to high-performance products that complement the company's portfolio of signal-processing solutions for industrial, medical and scientific instrumentation, as well as communications infrastructure and consumer electronics.
