Mansfield, Mass., USA: Murata Power Solutions announced that its Datel business unit has inked a distribution franchise agreement with Astute Electronics Ltd. for the supply of products to military and defence customers across the UK and Ireland. Under terms of the deal, the products represented will include Datel’s data-acquisition products and dc-dc converters.
Distributor Astute Electronics’ recent work with Thales recently received a bronze SC21 (Supply Chain 21st Century) award, the first distributor to hold such a status. The SC21 programme is designed to increase the competitiveness of the Aerospace and Defence industry by raising the performance of its supply chain.
