The 828 Series feedthrough terminal block provides tool-free, maintenance-free, throughpanel terminations for control-panel applications such as motor-control centers, UPS units, and electric-vehicle charging stations. UL Certified for 600 V/40 A, developed for alternative-energy inverters, aids in separating field-wired power-input connections from sensitive electronics by simplifying conductor passage through enclosure walls. This creates subpanels where power input connections can be made outside the protected area of enclosures or control panels. The block uses cage clamp spring pressure-connections to simplify terminations. Users lift the lever, insert a stripped conductor (16-6 awg) into the termination port, and lower the lever.

The single-piece device simplifies panel openings and eliminates alignment issues during panel assembly. Lockout feature accommodates a security seal or tagout marker, preventing unauthorized access to external terminations. A panel gasket seal provides a splash-resistant enclosure seal for additional protection and reliability.
