IDEC Corp. introduces LF1E LUMIFA LED Light Strips designed for use in freezers or refrigerated display cases with temperatures as low as -40° C.

IDEC Corp. introduces LF1E LUMIFA LED Light Strips designed for use in freezers or refrigerated display cases with temperatures as low as -40° C. The new light strips are suitable for food displays, grocery freezer units, deli counters, and ice cream displays. They can also be used in test chambers where temperatures are below freezing.

The LED light strips also save energy because the refrigeration or freezer unit doesn’t need to compensate for heat generated by the light. Operating on 24-V dc voltage, light strips retain 70% of their initial luminance at 40,000 hrs.

The LF1E series is available in Cool White (Temp: 5,000 K) or Warm White (3,000 K) and offered in four lengths up to 4.75 ft. Choose from three types -- no lens, condensing lens, and dual lens. All light strips are CE marked and UL listed for damp locations.
